A moisture equilibration test has been designed to study the pore structure and adsorption capacity of organic-rich shale with different contents. Five humidity environments were artificially controlled obtain samples With N 2 adsorption/desorption, differences in contents compared analysed. The results showed that diameter 2–10 nm pores decreased increasing characteristics conformed GAB model. It is proposed when enters a sample, monolayer will first occur because preferentially adsorbed on surface strong hydrophilicity, filling relatively small pores.
